If you are
considering the civilian side of the house with
employment opportunities and have not retired
from the military, your time in the USAF Academy
counts towards civilian retirement should you
want to
buy back the time you spent in the military.
You will need to show your USAFA transcript as
your DD214
only shows the time from graduation going
forward.
