					0800 MDT
					Good morning.
It's already in the 70's, heading up to the 90's today.
It's going to be a tad (a smidge) warm!

I'll head up there later to see how they're doing.  I'd
like to see how the squadron photos are being set-up and
also try to locate the some of the drill before they have to
					take shade under Fairchild Hall.
					0815 MDT
I was on the Academy Website today at

http://www.usafa.af.mil/ and went to their Public
					Affairs Page at

					http://www.usafa.af.mil/index.cfm?catname=Public%20Affairs.

It listed email addresses for their: Director of
					Communications; Community Relations; Internal Relations;
					Media Relations.

I also called the Base Operator asked for the Public Affairs
					phone number.
					It is (719) 333-2990

					Just received the updated schedule.
Field Day on Saturday is from 0700 - 1100 MDT.

					1130 MDT
Doolie Day Out - Sunday, July 16th
This program is run by the Cadet Sponsorship office.
Here is all I know from the schedule.
Looks like the Basics will be picked up around 0900 - 1000.
Once they are picked up, the Basics will go to the Sponsor's
House.  The schedule shows the Basics are due back at
the Academy by 1700.  That's all I know from the
					schedule.

					Web Guy Personal Note
If I were a parent of a 2010 Basic, I would be sitting on
Sunday by my home phone (hard line) with my cell phone in my
hand between 0900 and 1700 MDT.  Why?  My Basic
will likely try to call me on my home or cell phone if at
all possible from the place they are spending Doolie Day
					Out.

					1200 MDT
Note: I placed some references to Groundhog Day on the site
a few times.  Sorry about that.  I'm referring to
the movie, Groundhog Day with Bill Murray.  Everyday
when he woke up, it was Groundhog Day.  He lived the
same day over and over.  When I mentioned something
like, "Tomorrow's schedule is another Groundhog Day for the
Basics", I meant their schedule is almost identical to the
					day before.

Reveille, PT, breakfast, morning briefings, lunch, afternoon
briefs, dinner, evening briefing, hygiene, Taps.
					1500 MDT
Back from the cadet area.  Whew!!!! It
is hot up there in a shirt and tie.  I feel bad for the
Basics doing Flight Drill out there.

I caught some activity and took some shots.  I'll start
					editing.

By the way.  I took up someone who will be posting here
					with me.
					She calls herself "Web Gal".
					1510 MDT
					Just posted tomorrow's schedule.
					1520 MDT
Caught some Basics waiting to go into the
Lectinars for Honor Briefing 4.  These Basics were in
line to use the facilities/bathroom/latrine/loo before the
briefing.  According to the cadre member escorting
them, the Basics were from Squadron B, C Flight.

					1545 MDT
Web Gal here: We caught Squadron D, Flight B
in the Lectinar. of course it was as dark as a bat cave, but
					we did our best.
