Butch's History


Gone But Not Forgotten


854012_profile_pic.jpg Col (Ret) Jarrett B. McGehee, Jr., USAFA Class of 1964, passed away on 20 Dec 2012 in San Antonio, TX after a battle with cancer. A private graveside service was held on 27 Dec 2012 at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.

While at the Academy, Butch was assigned to Cadet Squadron 22, where he enjoyed skiing, football, scuba diving and boxing.

Following graduation, Butch served as an aircraft maintenance officer. He then entered the munitions career field, where he served from 1965 through his retirement from the Air Force in 1992. He then served in positions of increasing responsibility in the CACI Automated Science Group in San Antonio.

The family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the following charities:
