Gone But Not Forgotten
The U.S. Air Force Academy Association & Foundation has recently learned of the death of Col. (Ret.) Gary W. Matthes, CS-03, Class of 1964.
Col. Matthes passed away on Aug. 27, 2025, in Eugene, Oregon.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Oct. 6, 2025, at the Memorial Pavilion at the USAFA Cemetery, USAF Academy, Colorado.
