Class Of 1964 USAF Academy

John's History

John Lorber spent most of his military career overseas serving in Thailand during the Vietnam War; twice in England, Republic of Germany, Republic of Korea, and two tours in Japan. Stateside assignments were limited to tours in the Pentagon, professional military education schools, upgrade training, and a short stint as the linebacker coach for the Academy's Falcon Football Team--our best record was three and seven during those years. His final assignment was a hardship tour in Hawaii as the commander of PACAF.

After retiring from active service, he joined the Boeing Company as Vice President of Military International Sales. He is now attempting to pay back his wife, Susan, for the twenty eight times he made her pack up and move to a different location.
