Gone But Not Forgotten


LinscottSm.jpg Captain Bruce V. Linscott, United States Air Force Academy Class of 1964, died of a heart attack on 8 February 2000 in Flint, TX.

Bruce reported to the Academy from the State of New Hampshire. While at the Academy, he was a member of the 21st Cadet Squadron. He was an avid member of the Ski Club.

Upon graduation, Bruce was assigned to Undergraduate Pilot Training at Laughlin AFB, TX. From 1965 through 1968, he was a pilot with the 86th Military Airlift Squadron at Travis AFB, CA. From 1968 to 1970, he flew the RB-57 in the 58th Weather Reconnaissance Squadron at Kirtland AFB, NM. He separated from the Air Force on 30 June 1970. From 1970 to 1975, he was a businessman in Albuquerque, NM. In 1975, he moved to Flint, TX, his home at the time of his death.
