Ken Alnwick, who has been our Class Secretary and Scribe since June 2015, has decided to step down from his duties. He has carried on the tradition of excellence that was started by Bill Ouellette in October of 1969--when today's Checkpoints Class News was just an AOG newsletter called Quarterly Class News and later the AOG Magazine Class News. Bill was followed by Sid Newcomb, Jim Glaza, Jock Schwank, Bill Taylor, John MacArtney, C. T. Douglass, Dale Mayo, Andi Biancur, Chris Warack, and Rosie Cler--An Honor Roll of service to the Class.

And now it is, once again, Sid Newcomb who has answered the call to serve the Class. Welcome back Sid! And Thank You.

Now comes the hard part. Let's all pledge to give Sid our support by sending him content for his articles each quarter when the call is sent out. And a prerequisite to that content is for everyone to get off our tired, probably aching, back sides and do something we can report. You can't do much about your increasing number of years, but only you can decide when you're "old."
