Feb 4th, 2006 - Chapter Dinner!

Fellow Alumni

Among the hustle and bustle, I hope you have a chance to look at your calendar, and block off Saturday, Feb 4th for our First Annual AOG Badger Bash! Thanks in large part to our VP Mike Lischak, we have secured the cozy Deutscher Room at the Wisconsin Club in Milwaukee (also the former home of Billy Mitchell’s Grandfather). This location is rich in heritage, and is the perfect setting for our organization. There are a few logistical items to work out, however here is the bulk of our plans for the evening:

Saturday, 4 Feb 2006
1800-2200 hrs
Wisconsin Club Deutscher Room
Milwaukee, WI
Spouses & Guests Welcome
Valet Parking Provided

Choice of Meals:

A) Filet Mignon: Barrel cut Angus tenderloin, char-grilled, topped with sauteed lemon basil mushrooms accompanied by horseradish whipped potatoes

B) Parmesan Crusted Halibut: Dipped in buttermilk then seared crisp, with tomato basil cream, Brie infused mashed potato, balsamic tomato relish, champagne asparagus and sweet potato frits

C) Stuffed Chicken Marsala: Wild mushroom dressing rolled inside boneless chicken, sliced, fanned then finished with mushroom enhanced Marsala wine sauce and red jacket potatoes champignon

All meals come with a choice of soup du jour or house salad, fresh vegetables, starch, oven baked rolls and coffee, milk, hot or iced tea.

And for dessert, you can dive into the Home-style Dessert Buffet with assorted miniature desserts like Mom would make: Cream puffs, eclairs, cheesecakes, brownies, cookies, raspberry bars, carrot cake and strawberry short cake Wisconsin Club style

Meal Choice A or B) $44
Meal Choice C) $37

A cash bar will be available for the evening. We are arranging a guest speaker as well as a host of other entertainment ideas. Attire will be sport coat for men, and something equivalent in formality for the ladies!

If you would like to attend, please go to http://www.jeffersonemedia.com/usafa.htm for registration and payment.  If there is a problem, or you have a question, contact Shannon Yenchesky at Yench5wi@yahoo.com.  Please indicate the names of you and your guests, the meal choices, and telephone number in case we have a last minute billing issue.

We really are excited about the Feb meeting. We hope to see you there. The new officers have lots of great ideas for the upcoming year. Our President, Kimani Jefferson, will be sharing our visions with you in a letter in the next couple weeks.

We hope to see you Feb 4th!
