40 th REUNION COMMITTEE MEETING

Meeting Date: 16 June 2010

ATTENDEES: Gaw, Roger Hill, Gary Dahlen, Jack Mueller, Vic Bradford, Mick Davey, Dick Rauschkolb, Mike Torreano, Rich Downing.

COMMITTEE UPDATES:

Tailgate - link to Athletic Department to purchase football and tailgate tickets should available by 22 Jun. We will have '70 banner and dedicated section in tent. Still need to negotiate dedicated serving line..

Merchandise - continuing to work on link for ordering. Vendor web site to view merchandise is www.wfsenterprises.com. Mike Torreano has great on-line selections.

Pavilion - Agreement that Pavilion dedication is to focus on being a personal class event. Minimize outside VIP involvement. We will invite the Supt and Comm as USAFA reps. Dedication will be approximately 10-15 minutes and memorial service 40-45 minutes. Rich/Gary will work with AOG and Public Affairs to prepare video of the services. Pavilion construction is ahead of schedule. Anticipated completion is the first week of September. We still need $150K by Nov 30 to fully fund the building construction. Gaw will be sending out letters to KIA families requesting contact information on family members to invite for the dedication of the Pavilion and the benches.

REGISTRATION DISCUSSION:

Registered attendees(as of 21 Jun): 47. Squadron reps need to register as an example and encourage early registrations.
