40 th REUNION COMMITTEE MEETING

Meeting Date: 17 March 2010

ATTENDEES:  Downing, Torreano, Rauschkolb, Mueller, Bradford, Villareal, Dahlen, Emery, Gaw, Ganzler (AOG)
          By Phone:  Kinnan, Hill, Murphy, DeFilippo, Gregersen, Mitchell, Gilles, Davey and 5 partyers at the Spurs-Magic game.

Great involvement and discussion.

COMMITTEE REPORTS:

Merchandise (Torreano)-Registration gift will be two large coffee mugs w/ crest.
Golf favor-either Eisenhower Golf Course cap or personalized bag tag (paid by entry fee).
On-line ordering prior to reunion thru TBD days after reunion (all w/crest)-
            Half-zipper jacket
            Polo shirt
            Blue denim shirt
            Gym/carry-on bag
            Wine glasses

Tailgate (Gilles)-several options
            Current Athletic Department tent with roped-off area
            Class-organized catered tailgate without tent
            Class-organized w/tent, location probably at far south end of parking lot
           
Gilles and Dahlen to research possibility of donated tent.  Get more info from George Cato about friend’s offer of beer supply.

Golf Tournament-$80 includes green fees and carts, extra to rent clubs if needed.
            On-line registration will have item to sign up for foursomes.

Pavilion-on contract within 2 weeks.  Still need donations for memorial benches. To fully fund the remaining displays and plaques will require approximately $300k to complete.

REGISTRATION DISCUSSION: Several of the links needed to complete on-line registration will not be available until late April/May.  Decision is to delay posting registration capability until all links are established and costs solidified. This will allow all registration items to be accomplished at one sitting.
