40 th REUNION COMMITTEE MEETING

Great turnout
Attendees:  Jennifer Ganzler(AOG), Bill Kelly, Mick Davey, Chris Dunbar, Curt Emery, Gary Dahlen, Roger Hill, Dave Gaw, Dick Rauschkolb, Rich Downing

Discussion:

Need more subcommittee volunteers-communications/data base/web site and someone to coordinate tailgate.

Mick, Jennifer, and Chris to meet with Marriott-goal is tentative contract proposal by next week.

Decision to go business casual for Friday night dinner and Memorial/Pavilion dedication.

Alternative menus will be provided for dinner

Roger has good price for quality DJ for Friday night. 

Will check on AF band for dinner music.

Dave, Curt, and Gary to meet with Class of 1960 reunion reps to coordinate/de-conflict joint activities.

Jack Mueller to send out contact info by individual squadron to squadron liaison reps.
AOG agreed to single rate for all attendees.  Letter of Authorization and caveat paperwork delivered to AOG.

Alternate activities—focus on providing info packets and minimize scheduling/planning.

Determine status of e-mail list.
   Number that bounced with first communication
   Non-grad list
   Prep School

Need to develop budget spreadsheet for anticipated expenses

Jennifer to confirm use of Doolittle Hall for Friday lunch and Class meeting.

Dave meeting with alternate vendor on Friday for merchandise info.

Gary gave status update on Pavilion.  Everyone is encouraged to view neat fly-by video of concept design seen on Class link at AOG web site.

Discussed special guest list.  Widows of fallen classmates to be paid by class.  All others will be provided invitation with costs covered by individual squadrons or the individual.
